Dr Rameysh Danovani is a Medical Director and Consultant Radiologist with extensive expertise in Breast Imaging, Intervention and General Radiology. With a strong focus on advanced breast imaging and procedural techniques, he specializes in 3D mammography, contrast-enhanced mammography, breast MRI, imaging-guided vacuum biopsy and excisions, as well as tumor ablations. He was the former Head of Department of Radiology at Changi General Hospital (CGH) and currently holds the position of Visiting Consultant, and also serves as a mammographic reader and assessor for the BreastScreen Singapore (BSS) program.
Dr Rameysh Danovani completed his advanced specialist training in Diagnostic Radiology in Singapore and went on to pursue further sub-specialty training in Breast Imaging and Intervention at Yonsei University, South Korea. As the former Director of Breast Imaging in the Department of Radiology at CGH, he played an instrumental role in the development of advanced practices in his breast imaging unit. He led the adoption of ultrasound-guided vacuum excision and biopsies, as well as the use of contrast-enhanced mammography for diagnostic evaluation of breast cancers.
Dr Rameysh Danovani is an educator and remains a Faculty Physician at CGH. He was previously affiliated with the Singhealth DUKE-NUS Radiological Sciences residency program as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. He receives regular invitations for speaking and teaching engagements, both locally and internationally. In Singapore, he serves as a committee member in the Breast Cancer Screening Workgroup and the General Secretary Breast Imaging Subsection of the Singapore Radiological Society.
Dr Danovani is a passionate advocate for breast cancer screening and is committed to providing a comprehensive breast imaging diagnostic workup using a range of techniques. He is one of the few radiologists accredited to perform novel procedures such as cryoablation of breast tumors. His vast experience, skills, and expertise make him a valuable asset to the radiological and breast imaging community in Singapore and the wider region.
